Stacey Lane’s Biography Lane’s plays have been performed at over 1000 theatres on 6 continents. Her scripts are published with Dramatic Publishing, Playscripts Inc., Pioneer, Smith and Kraus, Heuer, Brooklyn Publishers, Eldridge, YouthPLAYS, Applause Theatre & Cinema Books, Meriwether, Routledge, Manhattan Theatre Source, JAC Publishing, Seraphemera Books, Sterling, Freshwater, Fresh Words, Poydras Review, The Quotable, Euphony Journal, Germ Magazine, Mock Turtle Zine, Indian Ink, The Other Otter, Furious Gazelle, Monologue Database, Actor Point, Canyon Voices, Whoopee Magazine, and Scene4. Her children’s stories, nonfiction articles, and activities can be found in Spider, Ladybug, Click, and Faces magazines. She is the recipient of the Wurlitzer Foundation Residency Grant and the Montgomery County Arts & Cultural District’s Literary Artist Fellowship. Lane is the winner of American Alliance for Theatre and Education’s Unpublished Play Reading Project Award and East Valley Children’s Theatre’s Aspiring Playwright Award. She received an Outstanding Playwriting nomination at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, a National Youth Arts Awards Best New Script nomination, and an ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence Best Original Script nomination. She graduated magna cum laude with a full scholarship from Rollins College.
