The Ugly Duckling
Synopsis With the sun and the moon serving as storytellers, this classic tale of transformation comes to life. An out-of-place baby swan does not fit in with her adorable, but mean- spirited duckling siblings. She takes flight to discover new friends and her true self. This educational play has a large flexible cast and includes movement and group recitation for younger actors who struggle with reading and memorizing lines. This script is perfect for classroom performance and lends itself to puppet and mask work.
